.Heyyyyyyyyy Abbottttt! That's right. The guys are back for another round of fun. This time they meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This is the third in a series of meeting monsters. Dr. Jekyll brilliantly played by Boris Karloff. This is actully the only version of the Jekyll and Hyde story that Universal made. Abbott and Costello play 2 American detectives, Slim and Tubby that are sent to London to study the police tatics of Scotland Yard. There are a lot of good scenes in this film. It is pretty heavy on the special effects. Interesting fact about this film is that in England it got an X rating because of the Mr. Hyde character. Often panned by the critics as not being good and Karloff giving a lackluster performance, I say they are wrong. This one, in my opinion, qualifies as a genuine classic.
